Where we serve

Along with our local partner Hands & Feet Ministries, we serve in and around Piedras Negras Mexico, a city in the Mexican state of Coahulia, just across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas. In Spanish, Piedras Negras translates to 'black stones' – a reference to coal deposits in the area.

Who we serve

We serve a diverse group of people and families in the region who are living in poverty, including children, immigrants, women experiencing violence, the disabled, elderly, and so many more. To learn more about the ministries we serve in Piedras Negras, click HERE.

How you can help

If you love children, if you are called to serve your neighbors in need, or if you simply want to get out of your comfort zone and help someone who is less fortunate, you already possess the most important skills necessary to make a difference: kindness.

Upcoming Trips

Global Blessings Co-op sponsors 3 - 4 trips to Piedras Negras every year. Most trips are three days (Fri-Sun) in length, and each itinerary is packed with meaningful service opportunities. But it’s not all about the work. Much of your time will be spent with other volunteers, with our Mexican partners, and of course with the indigenous peoples of this region.

Children's Day Mission Trip

April 25 - 27, 2025
April 30 is Children’s Day in Mexico, which is a BIG Deal! Our efforts for this trip focus on honoring our smallest friends in and around Piedras Negras. 2025 will be our 3rd Annual Kids Fest - a huge party just to celebrate the kids.

Smart Start Back-to-School

July 25 - 27, 2025
Help distribute over 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to the beautiful children in and around Piedras Negras. We have two elementary schools that we provide supplies to, as well as a special group of women & children, Mujeres de Paz.
