Topic - Immigration Crisis on the Southern U.S. Border
Heavenly Father, place on our hearts the faces of those who are escaping persecution and conflict, and those who are hungry, cold, and alone. We ask for your warm embrace for those who are fleeing their native lands, and carry the wounds of exploitation and hopelessness.
Father, we also ask for safety for those in harm's way, both on our shores and abroad, and we ask for discernment and your wisdom to be known to those who make, implement, and enforce immigration policy.
Lord Jesus, envelope us with your compassion and soften our hearts to the plight that so many face. We ask for justice, we ask for mercy, and we ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
